Bee Healthy Coach

WHO WRITES OUR GUIDES

The Bee Healthy Coach
editorial team.

A small team building plain-language health guides and the Bee Healthy Coach app. Here's exactly how our content is made today.

What we do

We write short, practical guides for everyday health questions: blood pressure, blood sugar, food, movement, sleep, and medicines. Our goal is for every guide to be easy to read at a sixth- to seventh-grade level and to end with one small, useful next step.

How a guide is made

  1. Pick one question a real reader might ask.
  2. Go to primary sources such as the CDC, NIH, FDA, and the American Heart Association.
  3. Draft with AI assistance, then check each health claim against the linked source.
  4. Clinical review by a licensed clinical reviewer, who checks the facts, numbers, and safety advice.
  5. Publish with dates and sources so you can see where every fact comes from and when it was last checked.

Clinical review

Our lead clinical reviewer is Reynald Vital, RN, BSN, a registered nurse and the founder of Bee Healthy Coach. See all our clinical reviewers. So far, 0 of 9 guides and infographics have been reviewed. Each guide shows its status at the top. When a guide is reviewed, it shows his name and the review date.

What we don't do

  • We don't diagnose, treat, or give personal medical advice.
  • We don't claim endorsements, awards, or reviewers we don't have.
  • We don't accept payment to cover a product.
